Message After 7 years of owning 2 non-turbos, and nearly 4 months of searching, i finally found and recently purchased a Twin Turbo...the car is a 91 w/ 83k miles...as you can see the car is super white and has jspec corners and taillights...also has a 6 disc in dash cd player and a bazooka tube in the rear...i really like the chrome wheels with this color...super white wasnt my first choice, but i wasnt going to be picky about the color if i found the right car....i like the color and think its clean...the car is pretty damn clean also, it was well taken care of...i will be the 4th owner...the car came with TONS of receipts of all the work performed over its life...mods in the car are:

-JWT intake
-JWT genie exhaust
-JWT ecu w/boost jets
-JWT street clutch

i'm glad the car with all of these extras and mods, because these are things i probably would have done myself sometime down the road, and now i dont need to mess with it at all. the only thing i bought is a turbo timer from coz which i will install in the stock clock location.

let me also say that going from a pretty much stock non-turbo to a stage 3 twin turbo is RIDICULOUS...i cannot believe the difference, its just insane...i cannot believe how quick the car is...anyways, here are some pics...i took them really quick so excuse the lighting or what not

on a side note, i went through hell and back to purchase this car...the story of how i bought the car would require an hour to tell...here is a short overview...went to tulsa, oklahoma to buy the car, the aux fan was dead, went to the nissan dealer to replace (yes i know, but i really had no choice cuz of previous owner), spent the night there, i ended up laying on the ground outside in 107 degrees and got covered in hot tar, went shopping for clothes at walmart, put my finger in the running aux fan (stupid, yes i know, but i thought it was off and i was checking something) and split my finger WIDE open, put a bandage on it, although it was bleeding profusely, i drove to dallas, i was given the wrong directions TWICE and drove 1 hour the wrong way, went through the absolute boonies of oklahoma at 1 am scared shitless, got to dallas at 3 am (6.5 hours after i left tulsa), then had member Nazeer look at my still bleeding finger and he took me to the hospital ER in dallas at 3 am got my finger stitched up and went back to his place at 5:30 am (thanks nazeer)...i'll spare you guys from the pictures of my cut open finger, but it hurt like a bitch.

and i'm sorry to those members who live in oklahoma, but in my opinion, oklahoma sucks. the lack of street signs, incompetent govt employees who gave me wrong directions twice (including the toll booth lady who didnt even know what highway she was on in the toll booth!), and my experience there was horrible. i cannot tell you how happy i was when i saw the sign "Welcome to Texas!"

i do want to thank the tt.netters who helped me out during my stay there though. they were great. i also wanna thank the tt.net members who looked at various cars for me in different cities during my search for a TT. these members saved me a couple trips by telling me if a car was worth coming to see personally or not. thank you very much.

this TT was having an overheating issue under full boost and/or AC on...but when i got home, i replaced the thermostat and water pump and cleaned the hell out of the radiator and condensor; and the car is almost as it should be now, but still have a few more things to do. i'm debating an aftermarket radiator as a precaution since the car will eventually be a daily driver. my main goal is to perform all the preventive maintenance possible and get the car running to as perfect as possible...my non-turbo will be for sale in the near future, so if anyone is interested, shoot me an email.

anyways, just wanted to share that i FINALLY bought my twin turbo and i'm super excited about it...btw, the infamous question i have been asked repeatedly whenever i tell someone i have a 300ZX is, "is it a twin turbo?" now i can finally answer "YES!" to this question. thanks for reading
